What shoppers pay

According to the published notice, shoppers pay €0 in customs duties covered by this policy. USFans says it will absorb the applicable fees regardless of how many eligible product categories are included in the parcel.

When the new rules begin

The announcement says the updated European Union import customs regulations take effect on July 1, 2026.

How duties may be calculated

Customs authorities may assess duties according to the number of different product categories, identified through HS Codes, declared within one parcel.

Examples in the notice

The notice gives examples of €3 for one category, €6 for two categories and €12 for four categories before the stated USFans subsidy is applied.

What this means for a parcel

The published policy says parcels with one, two, five or more product categories still leave the shopper paying €0 in covered customs duties, with no additional customs payment procedure required.
